Raffstar, LLC, respects your right to privacy and understands the importance of controlling the use of personal information. Raffstar, LLC (“Raffstar”) provides this Web site (“site”) as a service to those individuals wishing to participate in sweepstakes. Use of the site is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below in Raffstar’s Privacy Policy (“policy”), the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes, and the Terms of Use of the Web site.

Raffstar collects information from its Web site from sweepstakes participants. The Privacy Policy governs users’ interaction with the site and users’ registration for entry into the sweepstakes. Except as set forth within this Privacy Policy, the site’s Terms of Use agreement, the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes, and/or other published guidelines, Raffstar does not release personally identifiable information about the site’s visitors without their permission.

Acceptance of Privacy Policy

By using Raffstar.com, you affirmatively consent to the policies and practices described in this privacy policy. By completing and submitting an entry form into the sweepstakes, whether online or otherwise, you affirmatively consent to the policies and practices described in this privacy policy. If you do not accept this privacy policy, please do not use the website or enter into any sweepstakes.

What Information Does Raffstar Gather?

Raffstar gathers two types of information about the site’s users: non-personally identifiable information and personally identifiable information.

Non-personally identifiable information. As users access the site, Raffstar collects and aggregates information indicating, among other things, which pages were visited, the order in which they were visited, and which hyperlinks were employed. Collecting such information involves the logging of IP addresses, operating system, and browser software used by each visitor. Although such information is not personally identifiable, Raffstar can determine from the IP address a visitor’s Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of the user’s point of connectivity.

The non-personally identifiable information collected helps in diagnosing any server problems, administering the site, identifying the most popular areas of the site, and determining the effectiveness of promotional activities.

For the same purposes, Raffstar uses “cookies.” These are small text files placed on your computer’s hard drive in order to help determine the type of content and sites visited, the length of time spent on a particular site, and the usage of services offered via the site. For information on how users can control their Web browser’s acceptance of cookies, please refer to the documentation accompanying the browser.

Personally identifiable information. When registering to enter a sweepstakes online or otherwise, you are required to provide personally identifiable information including, your name, date of birth, e-mail address, zip code where you live, and gender. This information is gathered so that Raffstar can verify the age of the entrant, notify the winners of the sweepstakes, and notify an individual of any upcoming sweepstakes or promotions. Winners of the sweepstakes will need to provide a mailing address in order that the prize may be shipped to them.

Raffstar does not control the acts of this site’s members or visitors. All members and visitors should be aware that their disclosure of personally identifiable information in a bulletin board, chat room, guest book, or other forum allows other parties to send them unsolicited e-mail. In the event visitors encounter any user on this site who is improperly collecting or using information provided by the site’s members or visitors, please contact privacy@raffstar.com.

What About Children’s Online Privacy?

Raffstar does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children (defined herein as minors younger than thirteen (13) years of age). The sweepstakes is only offered to children thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry. Before entering into any sweepstakes offered by this site, Raffstar requests that all minors have their parents read the Privacy Policy, the Official Rules of the sweepstakes, the Terms of Use of the website, and continue their involvement throughout the sweepstakes process.

How Does Raffstar Use Gathered Information?

Raffstar encourages all third parties involved to adhere to this site’s Privacy Policy and to otherwise handle personal information in a responsible manner. However, Raffstar cannot and does not assume any responsibility for any actions or omissions of third parties, including the manner in which they use information received either from entrants of the sweepstakes or Raffstar. Nevertheless, in the event users encounter any third party associated with, or who claims association with Raffstar, who is improperly collecting or using personal information, please contact support@raffstar.com who will forward the message to the third party. Raffstar will not release the user’s personally identifiable information to third parties.

Use of non-personally identifiable information. Raffstar uses non-personally identifiable information in aggregate form to build higher quality, more useful online services by performing statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavior of the site visitors, and by measuring interests regarding specific areas of the site.

The site may contain links to other Internet Web sites, including other companies, charitable organizations, and other sites that may or may not be owned or operated by Raffstar. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, Raffstar is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such sites, including such sites’ use of any information (such as IP address, browser type, or operating system) collected when visitors to the site click through links to those sites. Even though such information might not identify the user personally, users should be familiar with the privacy practices of those other sites.

Use of personally identifiable information. The personally identifiable information collected during the sweepstakes entry process including the entrant’s name, date of birth, e-mail address, zip code of where they live, and gender, is gathered for the sole purpose of Raffstar to verify the age of the entrant, identify entrants into the sweepstakes, to notify the winners, and to notify an individual of any upcoming sweepstakes or promotions. Sweepstakes winners will be required to submit their mailing addresses. The mailing address of winners will not be used in any way other than to mail the prize to the winners.

How do I “Opt-Out” from Receiving Promotional Communications?

Individuals must provide their name, date of birth, e-mail address, zip code of where they live, and gender in order to register with Raffstar and enter into the sweepstakes. Entrants may choose to “opt out” of receiving promotional materials notifying them of any upcoming sweepstakes. If the user decides to discontinue receiving promotional information from Raffstar, please contact Raffstar at unsubscribe@raffstar.com.

Raffstar limits its own e-mail contact and solicitations to those users who have not “opted out” of receiving such communications. The solicitations are limited in that they, among other things, will clearly indicate the originator of the e-mail and provide the user with a method of “opting out” of receiving future communications of a similar nature.

To Whom Does Raffstar Share and Disclose Information It Collects?

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Raffstar will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to comply with applicable law or to respond to a subpoena, court order, search warrant or other legal process received by Raffstar, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of a third party; (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service; or (4) to respond to an emergency. Raffstar reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Raffstar or substantially all of Raffstar’s assets to that successor in interest. Raffstar also reserves the right to disclose personal information as necessary to enable third-party service providers to support and maintain the operation of Raffstar.com and Raffstar’s service. Third Party Advertising

Ads may appear on this Web site by one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Raffstar and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Raffstar contains links to third-party sites. Raffstar is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on Raffstar.com.

Security

Those that register to enter a sweepstakes will provide their name, date of birth, e-mail address, zip code where they live, and gender. This information is secured by registrant/entrant-created passwords. Raffstar takes precautions to ensure that member account information is kept private. We use commercially reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. When members submit their personal information or log into their accounts on Raffstar.com, the information transmitted is protected by industry standard encryption. However, as effective as any security measure implemented by Raffstar may be, no security system is impenetrable. As such, Raffstar cannot guarantee the security of its database, nor can it guarantee that the information supplied by users will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. Changes in Our Privacy Policy

Please note that Raffstar reviews these privacy practices from time to time, and that these practices are therefore subject to change. Raffstar asks users to periodically review this page to ensure continuing familiarity with the most current version of the site’s Privacy Policy. Changing/Deleting Personal Information

If users would like to have personally identifiable information changed or removed from Raffstar’s database, please contact privacy@raffstar.com. Keep in mind that there will be residual information remaining within the databases, access logs, and other records, which may or may not contain such personally identifiable information. The residual information will not be used for commercial purposes.

California Privacy Rights

Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of Raffstar who are California residents to request certain information regarding its disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
