how close have you gotten?

Posts: 10I've gotten 5th on the Wired Magazine one. I'm a college student, and at my campus we have wireless internet everywhere. So every hour i would just log into raffstar, get my tickets and be done with it in 5 min. I guess if you have means to the internet access all day long this works out. The Raffstar guys are making something for mobile phones, so this should make it easier. -

Posts: 2I got 8th place on one... that's the only time I've ever gotten anywhere near the top ten. Like the other person said, I try and keep positive but it is disheartening to see not only people in the top ten twice, but also the same person win more than one raffle. I try and get tickets as often as I can... but alas it doesn't seem to be helping much at all. I know it's for charity, and I really appreciate the staff at Raffstar giving this website a try and all their hard work. I'm sure y'all know what I mean though. It's hard to see when you're never really close but other people seem to be up there and winning frequently. -

Posts: 51I received a second place on the victoria secret giftcard; those aren't very popular, but it was still cool. The uncool part would be if I won and had to sell it to my sister or mother because I'm single. Maybe I should think things through before I almost win something. -

Ya thats why I do not get tickets for prizes like that.Because I am also single and I have no sister and would not want to sell it to my mother.So I would I have no idea what I would do with it.
