Yet it seems often the top 10 have quite of few of the same names over and over.

I found this aspect quite suprising, that the majority of the multuple winners truly only finished in first place once or maybe twice. The rest of their wins came in 2nd or even later places.
It changed my opnion on why their seemed to be the same people winning, turns out it was just my scewed perspective (and that I hate to lose) and not the actual facts.
So the point to my orginal post was not to cmplain but to enlighten.

The stats you present are interesting but i would not say they were surprising. It is true that there are multipe winners but the main thing to take into consideration is how many peoeple missed claiming it before the winner claimed. For instance you will see in the last colum TheCanadianBeast truely only got first place one time, the other three wins were only because someone didn't claim the prize. Majority of the time with repeat winners this is the case.

I know that I am in the top 10 many times on most all giveaways but I have only won once. I decided to look at the facts concerning this top 10 issue and I was supprised by what I found.
Go to the link below to see the entire list of Prizes, winners and claimed place.
Were you as suprised as I was?

All of the delays we have had to investigate thus far appear to have been caused by the recipient's mail servers, particularly free email services such as Yahoo!, Hotmail, and Gmail. These systems can slow delivery due to volume, spam filtering, and system maintenance. To address this we are working on new ways to notify winners other than email.

That said, every automated system can slow down under pressure; real-time processing of data can get tricky on limited resources. We combat this by selecting the winner and notifying them first before processing the leaderboard and other details. We also record the time each winning notification is emailed to help us troubleshoot any apparent conflict. If you ever feel like there was a delay caused by Raffstar's servers that cost you the prize, let us know and we will look into it.

- David Perini

The Raffstar Team

It doesn't happen all the time. It works fine a majority of the time. So the problem isn't on my side, but on Raffstar's. I noticed that the site was running a bit slow that day.
