It’s hard to believe that just three weeks ago we were posting a blog about reaching 1,500 members, and now we’ve passed 5,000! Yep, in just over 2 months, Raffstar has gone from a brand-new start-up that no one had ever heard of, to a booming site of over 5,000 enthusiastic members. And we don’t have any plans of stopping there!

Keep telling your family, co-workers, strangers on the street, friends (and even enemies), about the coolest place on the ‘net to help support charities (oh, and to win cool prizes…). And remember as our membership continues to grow, the better the prizes will get. So keep spreading the word, congrats to all those who have won prizes so far, and thanks to all of you for doing your part to bring awareness to these causes in our effort to make the world a better place- one prize at a time.

The 1st of December, World AIDS Day, is the day when individuals and organisations from around the world come together to bring attention to the global AIDS epidemic. 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day.

The World Aids Campaitn was established to support and promote a global campaign on HIV and AIDS. The campaign strengthens and connects together many of the AIDS-related advocacy and campaigns happening in our countries and regions – each are supported by a multitude of groups who are demanding that their governments and other key stakeholders deliver on previous promises and commitments on HIV and AIDS.
